Recital and Film

Saturday at Malaga Theatre Cervantes, was the first concert visit of the year for the Jade Coffee Club. We were very impressed with Javier Perianes

who played Rachmaninov, Piano Concerto no 2.

On Wednesday we saw the film nominated for Oscars.

" The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". Not a happy film.!!

February Venues

We saw "Australia" last week at the Yelmo Cineplex, Plaza Mayor and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was a treat for the ladies watching Hugh Jackman take a shower in "Australia".
A good satisfying wide screen adventure.

We have renamed our group after a year of meetings.

We are now "THE JADE COFFEE CLUB",
with each of us having a piece of 1.000,000 year old Mayan jade from Guatamala.

Our small coffee group meeting on Friday 23rd will be in Mi Punto near RENFE and Barclays All our meetings are now taking place in different places, and so far we have chosen El Albanico, La Tahoma and the cafe in the Casa Culturo Pablo Picasso, where we saw a painting exhibition that was most impressive.
Next we will be at La Brioche on the 6th of February at 11am. Up from the Horse fountain on La Bomba hill.
